Referring to this post about a month ago. As someone who is visiting China in a few weeks, I’d like to hear about what came of this. Did OP send his phone to a security lab for analysis? If so, what did they discover about the nature of the spyware? Is this spyware hijacking done for every foreigner entering the country? Is it even safe to plug my phone into a charging station in China? If anyone could provide me with any information, I will be grateful.
