A Singaporean YouTuber made a couple of informative videos discussing the full extent of the Plastic Pollution catastrophic that is happening in Thailand. As the 6th single biggest plastic polluter in world, it bares at least some responsibility for what’s happening in our worlds oceans.
By shining an uncensored light on the deteriorating situation going on in Thailand, she broke Thailand’s defamation laws. A few months later she was apprehended, charged with defamation against the nation of Thailand, fined heavily, then deported from the country. Since then, many people have attempted to spread awareness of what had occurred only to be met with kicks, bans and post deletions. The administrators of Thailands facebook groups as well as their internet forums don’t want trouble from the authorities so they remove most discussions about it.
