Finally got a mulching leaf vacuum. Used it to mulch my whole pile tonight. Hot damn: that’s soil. I started a very modest compost bin in my backyard about 4 months ago. It’s as small as you can get, really. A little more than a cubic meter, simple metal mesh in a circle. I just added fresh grass trimmings, and lots of dry leaves, and the usual kitchen refuse.
